An early summer sunset and the soft light and calm waters of Payette Lake make for a tranquil end of the day just north of McCall, Idaho. A 30 second exposure added further softness to the clouds and ripples on the lake surface, further enhancing the mood I was looking to achieve.

The photographer produced this image with a 3:2 aspect ratio to offer a faithful reproduction of the original scene. The size options available maintain this aspect ratio and image quality without cropping during the printing process.

In this case, the wide landscape is composed and printed from three narrower "slices" of the original image which are then printed as three separate panels. None of the image is lost in the process. The entire image is there, it just spans across the three narrower panels. We recommend this approach for certain wide landscape images.
